Hattusa, the capital city of the Hittite Empire (1800-1200 BC), is a matchless archaeological site on Earth as it is a center of a unique culture.
Being the capital of the Hittite Empire and developed in the field of art and architecture, Hattusa is located in the southeast of the
Sungurlu District of Çorum. 5 layers of culture emerged after excavations. Excavations revealed the remains of Hatti, Assyria, Hittite, Phrygian, Galatia, Roman and Byzantine periods in these layers.

Scenes on embossed vase found at Hüseyindede Hill gives an idea of dance styles had an important place in Hittite culture and applied in various styles. According to the written records, in the cult ceremonies celebrated for various gods, different instruments were played, songs and poems were sung and there were also performances and
dances occasionally. The Hittite Vase is inspired by the scenes on the vase found at Hüseyindede Hill. The scene depicts people who play cymbal
and lute and dances made in the form of sitting or jumping on a bull. Hattusa, the capital of Hittite, was inscribed as a World Heritage in 1986 by UNESCO.
