Limited Edition

The Black Eunuchs Courtyard, in Topkapi Palace was named after the guards “Black Eunuchs” of the Harem gates whose main responsibility was to control the entrances and keep outsiders away from the Harem. It is narrated that the Sultan used to the ride on the stony path which runs down the entire court yard. The walls on both sides of this road are decorated with glazed tiles.
The patterns on the Devr-i Lale Bowl take their inspiration from these tiles.
Devr-i Lale Bowl is made of turquoise blue handcrafted glass and all patterns are embossed using 24 carat gilding and glass paints.
